The Projects Company - Leading UK Provider of Accredited Training

ACCREDITED PROJECT MANAGEMENT TRAINING

The Projects Company offers a three-day accredited, by The Association for Project Management, Introduction to Project Management course (click link to go to pdf file).

This course takes the traditional Project Management 'bottom-up' discipline to incorporate a broader overview.  It is designed for people working within a small to medium organisation who wish to gain an understanding of the application of Project Management techniques in order to be more efficient and effective in setting up, running and monitoring projects.

By the end of this course, participants should be better able to:
- Understand the principles of the Project Management discipline
- Apply a range of methods for the planning and execution of projects
- Decide which techniques can be used to encourage and support team working
- Measure the effectiveness and cost-effectiveness of their work
- Gain accreditation for the ability to apply learnt techniques in the workplace

The Projects Company uses APM qualified trainers and qualified NVQ assessors to deliver this programme.  The trainers also have hands-on experience of working in the not-for-profit sector, social enterprises and SME’s and in using Project Management techniques.

Training includes interactive group discussion, exercises and comprehensive workbooks that act as useful 'tools' for the workplace.

The Introduction to Project Managment accredited course runs over three days with the initial two days back-to-back training followed approximately one week later.  The final day incorporates revision and an exam.

This course is intense and candidates must ensure they allow themselves plenty of time to attend for the full three days, and allow time for revision.
