The Annual Trustee Conference was held on Thursday 26 June 2008 at Royal College of Surgeons, 35–43 Lincoln’s Inn Fields, London, WC2A 3PE
Aiming to bring together leading figures and specialist advisers in the charity world, in order to help trustees and senior managers develop the skills and confidence needed to govern effectively in a fast evolving environment and address the challenges along the way.
The seminar programme was developed to ensure a good understanding of the problems charities face at the highest level, but also to assist with finding the solutions to deal with them. Speakers gave first hand experiences from charities in similar situations as well as technical updates on areas affecting charity governance.
