ACCREDITED FUNDRAISING TRAINING

The Certificate in Fundraising Management (click link to go to pdf file), is a professional qualification developed by the Institute of Fundraising and designed and delivered by The Projects Company.

The course offers a practical approach with high levels of participation, using a variety of teaching and learning strategies.  It is run by fully qualified trainers with a track record of achievement in every area of work required by the Institute of Fundraising's Certificate in Fundraising Management.

The programme consists of two modules, Managing Fundraising and Fundraising Practice.  Both are designed to deliver and assess the skills and knowledge required for the Certificate in Fundraising Management.  Successful completion of both modules will entitle candidates to use the initials "MInstF (Cert)" and upgrade their membership.

Training for each module runs for five days spread over three months and each module is designed to stand alone.  Each module can be taken separately and in any order.

The Certificate programme is aimed at fundraisers, fundraising managers and individuals who, as a part of their work, have a responsibility for overseeing or generating income. Throughout the course, candidates will be encouraged to use and develop work-based products which will be of value to their organisation. 

These work-based products go towards making up a Portfolio of Evidence. The Portfolio can then be assessed by The Projects Company qualified assessors and verified by the Institute of Fundraising.
