Projects Co MD - Gina NegusGina Negus is the founder of The Projects Company.

Established in 1986, the company provides consultancy, training and facilitation to business, social enterprises and not-for-profit organisations in management, project management and fundraising techniques.

Gina has first-hand experience of setting up organisations, working with boards and devising strategy for and managing income generation and service delivery.

Gina Negus Background and Skills:

  • over 25 years of experience of working in the not-for-profit sector, which began with successfully setting up and directing a 7 figure capital appeal for the UK’s first Ecumenical ‘Cathedral’ in Milton-Keynes (her first introduction to the project management discipline).
  • A substantial track record of achieving financial and ambitious contracted client targets in both hands-on capacity and within consultancy support (including forming a consortium of 3 charities to set up UK Charity Lotteries Ltd which provided scratch cards in retail outlets across the UK as income generation to the charities. This was later sold very profitably to Littlewoods.
  • A former Chair of the Association of Fundraising Consultants and is the only woman to have ever held this position.
  • Has successfully run her own training and consultancy business for over 23 years and has been responsible for staff induction, management and training and in helping staff growth and development.
  • A track record of achieving growth and development within businesses, social enterprises and not-for-profit organisations.
  • In a voluntary capacity, Gina has also held Trustee positions in a range of not-for-profit oganisations, including chairing a victim support scheme that under her chairmanship initiated the first Witness Service at a Magistrates Court which after its success was undertaken by the Home Office to be provided at all Magistrates Courts.
  • Trained for over 12 years for the Directory of Social Change on both the management and fundraising programmes.
  • Trained in strategic planning and has been a group leader for The Templeton Institute.
  • Has had substantial experience of TV interviews, presentations and public speaking.
  • has been an IOF Licensed Assessor and Trainer.
  • Is a Qualified Assessor.
  • Has had all Trustee Officer position in a range of not-for-profit organisations.
  • Holds project management qualifications.
  • Has experience of successfully tendering for government (LSC and Local Authority) contracts.
