Assoc for Project Management logoA practical and adaptable project management course specifically for the NHS has been created by The Projects Company – accredited by the APM. The course uses interactive exercises based on NHS issues enabling participants to apply the techniques easily in real-life situations.

Completely demystifying project management, this is a flexible non-bureaucratic programme which features practical applied NHS focussed techniques which your workforce can adapt and select to use in their day to day work.
Training in project management and fundraising
Designed and delivered by project management professionals who have a vast experience of working within the NHS, the accredited course can develop skills which will help your staff ake the best use of their time and addresses many of the leadership and management issues facing all NHS staff today.

This is a three day in-house course. Two days run back to back with a third day approximately a week later. A one-hour multiple choice examination completes day three. Candidates need to achieve 60 percent to gain the certificate.

By the end of the course participants should be able to:

  • Use a range of methods for the planning and execution of projects
  • Encourage and support team building
  • Measure the effectiveness and cost effectiveness of their work
  • Gain project management accreditation
