Accredited Project Management Training (APM)
Accredited project management training by The Projects Company comprises a two-day course accredited by The Association for Project Management (APM), The Introductory Certificate in Project Management.
This course takes the traditional project management ‘bottom-up’ discipline to incorporate a broader overview. It is designed for people who wish to gain an understanding of the application of project management techniques in order to be more efficient and effective in setting up, running and monitoring projects.
By the end of this course, participants should be better able to:
- - Understand the principles of the project management discipline
- - Apply a range of methods for the planning and execution of projects
- - Decide which techniques can be used to encourage and support team working
- - Measure the effectiveness of their work
- - Gain accreditation for the ability to apply learnt techniques in
the workplace
The Projects Company uses APM qualified trainers and qualified NVQ assessors to deliver this programme. The trainers also have hands-on experience of using project management techniques on a broad range of projects.
Training includes interactive group discussion, exercises and comprehensive workbooks that act as useful ‘tools’ for the workplace.
The Introduction to Project Management accredited course runs over two days. An objective test examination questionnaire completes Day 2. Candidates will need to achieve a 60% pass rate.
The Projects Company offers this course as in-house training to a minimum of 6 delegates. Prices start as low as £720 + VAT per person, which includes the APM exam fee.
